Usage & Maintenance

Pre-Use Inspection

• Inspect the sling surface before each use for cuts, abrasion, chemical corrosion, or broken stitching

• Verify the WLL (Working Load Limit) label is legible and the sling is not used beyond its rated capacity

• Confirm the sling color code matches the corresponding WLL; do not mix or substitute

Proper Use

• Always use corner protectors / protective sleeves where the sling contacts sharp edges of the workpiece

• Do not knot or twist the sling; shock loading is strictly prohibited

• The load shall be evenly distributed across the sling's bearing surface; avoid off-center loading

• Do not use the sling in chemically corrosive environments or beyond the permitted temperature range

Storage & Care

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and prolonged UV exposure

• Keep away from chemicals, oil, grease, and sharp objects

• Clean and dry the sling thoroughly after use before storage to prevent mildew

Discard Criteria (the sling shall be removed from service if any of the following occurs)

• Load-bearing stitching is broken or worn by more than 10%

• Surface cuts, tears, or severe abrasion are present on the sling

• The sling has been subjected to chemical corrosion, high-temperature damage, or irreversible deformation

• The label is illegible or missing

• The sling has experienced overload or shock loading
