Endless Webbing Sling
Industrial-Grade Lifting Solution — EN 1492-1 Certified
The endless webbing sling (also known as an endless loop lifting sling or continuous polyester sling) is a high-strength synthetic lifting sling formed from a single continuous loop of 100% high-tenacity polyester (PES) webbing. Engineered and manufactured to EN 1492-1, it delivers a 7:1 safety factor across working load limits from 1,000 kg to 50,000 kg, making it one of the most versatile and cost-effective lifting solutions available for industrial rigging operations today.
Unlike traditional wire rope or chain slings, the endless webbing sling contains no metal fittings, hooks, or end terminations. Its seamless loop construction is exceptionally lightweight — typically one-fifth the weight of an equivalent-capacity wire rope sling — while providing superior load protection. The soft polyester contact face eliminates the risk of scratching, marring, or denting finished surfaces, making it the preferred choice for lifting painted steel, polished machinery, precast concrete, and high-value equipment.
The endless design enables the rigger to rotate the sling at hook and load contact points, distributing wear evenly around the full circumference. This simple operational practice can extend service life by up to 40% compared to fixed-point slings. It also means a single sling can serve multiple wear zones before requiring replacement.
Endless webbing slings work in all three standard hitch configurations — vertical, choker, and basket — giving the rigging team maximum flexibility at the job site. Whether you are lifting steel beams on a construction site, handling pipe in an oil and gas facility, securing cargo at a port terminal, or moving heavy machinery in a manufacturing plant, the endless webbing sling delivers consistent, reliable performance lift after lift.

At a fraction of the weight of wire rope, our polyester webbing slings reduce operator fatigue, minimize manual handling injury risk, and speed up rigging time — all while supporting loads up to 50 metric tons in vertical lift configuration.
The endless loop design allows the contact point with the hook and load to be rotated after each lift. By distributing abrasion across the full circumference of the sling, wear life is significantly extended — a major cost advantage over fixed-end slings that wear out at a single point.
The smooth, flat polyester webbing face is inherently non-abrasive to load surfaces. It will not scratch polished steel, chip painted coatings, or crush fragile edges. This makes the endless webbing sling the go-to choice for handling finished products, architectural steelwork, precision machinery, and other high-value loads that wire rope would damage.
Polyester webbing is unaffected by water absorption — it will not rot, mildew, or lose strength in wet or marine environments. It also offers excellent resistance to most mineral acids, organic solvents, and oxidizing agents commonly encountered in industrial settings. When used in chemically active environments, post-use rinsing and air drying before storage are recommended to maximize service life.
Every sling is manufactured with color-coded webbing per EN 1492-1, enabling instant visual capacity identification on the job site. Violet = 1 ton, green = 2 tons, yellow = 3 tons, gray = 4 tons, red = 5 tons, brown = 6 tons, blue = 8 tons, orange = 10 tons and above. No labels to read, no guesswork — the color tells the story.
Each endless webbing sling carries a permanently sewn rating label displaying the working load limit (WLL), reach (circumference), serial number, material code, manufacturing date, and applicable standard. Full traceability ensures compliance with lifting equipment inspection and record-keeping requirements under LOLER, OSHA, and equivalent international regulations.
WLL (tons) | Color Code | Webbing Width | Ply | Min Breaking Force (kg) | Weight (kg/m) |
1.0 | Violet | 30 mm | 1 | 7,000 | 0.22 |
2.0 | Green | 60 mm | 1 | 14,000 | 0.42 |
3.0 | Yellow | 90 mm | 1 | 21,000 | 0.61 |
4.0 | Gray | 120 mm | 1 | 28,000 | 0.80 |
5.0 | Red | 150 mm | 1 | 35,000 | 0.98 |
6.0 | Brown | 180 mm | 1 | 42,000 | 1.15 |
8.0 | Blue | 120 mm | 2 | 56,000 | 1.60 |

12.0 | Orange | 180 mm | 2 | 84,000 | 2.35 |
16.0 | Orange | 240 mm | 2 | 112,000 | 3.10 |
20.0+ | Orange | 300 mm | 3–4 | 140,000+ | On request |

Standard: EN 1492-1 | Safety Factor: 7:1 (minimum breaking strength ≥ 7 × WLL) | Material: 100% high-tenacity polyester (PES) | Standard Lengths: 1 m to 20 m (circumference) | Temperature Range: –40 °C to +100 °C | Elongation at WLL: < 10%
Custom Options: Non-standard lengths, extra-wide webbing, multi-ply (3-ply, 4-ply), abrasive-resistant wear sleeves, custom labeling, higher WLL up to 50T
Capacities shown are for vertical hitch configuration at 0°–7° leg angle. Derate for choker hitch (0.8× WLL). Basket hitch capacity multiplier: 2.0× at 0° leg angle, 1.4× at 45°, 1.0× at 60°.
The simplest rigging method. The sling connects the crane hook directly to the load in a straight vertical line. All rated working load limits are defined for this configuration. Best for single-point lifts where the load center of gravity is directly below the hook.
One end of the sling is passed through the other, creating a self-tightening loop around the load. The sling grips the load as tension is applied. Capacity is reduced to 80% of the rated WLL. Ideal for irregular shapes, bundled materials, and loads without dedicated lifting points.
Both ends of the sling are placed on the crane hook, with the load cradled in the middle of the loop. At a 0° leg angle (sling legs parallel), capacity doubles to 2.0× WLL. At 45°, capacity is 1.4× WLL. This configuration is preferred for long, rigid loads such as pipes, beams, and shafts where multi-point support is required.
Endless webbing slings are trusted across the world's most demanding industries:
