UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) round slings are high-performance lifting tools known for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Below are the key parameters you need to know:

1. Material

Core & Sleeve: UHMWPE fiber is used for the core (load-bearing yarn) and, in some high-end models, also for the outer sleeve (e.g., DoGiga-H series). In other models, the sleeve may be made from Polyester (PES) for abrasion protection, while the core remains UHMWPE.

Key Feature: UHMWPE is significantly lighter than steel (about 1/7th the weight of wire rope) and is neutrally buoyant, making it ideal for marine and offshore applications.

2. Working Load Limit (WLL)

The WLL represents the maximum safe load the sling can lift in a specific configuration.

Common Range: Standard slings range from 1 ton to 50 tons, with heavy-duty versions available up to 100 tons or even 300 tons.

Color Coding: Slings are often color-coded by capacity for quick visual identification (e.g., purple, green, yellow, red).

3. Safety Factor (Design Factor)
