Before each lift
Inspect the full length of webbing for cuts, fraying, holes, chemical stains or heat damage; discard any strap with visible core damage.
Check sewn eyes and label tags — never use a strap whose WLL tag is missing or illegible.
Never exceed the rated working load limit printed on the tag.
During rigging
Protect the webbing with corner guards or sleeves wherever it touches sharp edges.
